Jahandar Ehya

Jahandar Ehya was born in Tehran, Iran. He attended elementary and high school in Tehran and continued his college education in the U.S.
He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Utah State University in Logan, Utah.
The artist began working diligently on his paintings around 1985. In the first few years he chose watercolor as the medium of his works but later on he was attracted to oil painting and preferred to do his paintings in oil.
He has always been fascinated with the natural beauty of his native land and his works are inspired by the beauty and serenity of mountain villages around Tehran and the Caspian Sea.
